With the arrival of GA4 and the imminent discontinuation of Universal Analytics properties, Lepape sought to ensure the tracking of traffic and user engagement for its e-commerce site on this new version of Google Analytics.

The project and its results

An analysis of the existing tagging was carried out to ensure a smooth migration. This analysis allowed us to eliminate outdated elements and identify tracking opportunities.

Based on this, our team defined the key KPIs and events to be added to the tracking plan to ensure more accurate lead tracking. We also prepared recommendation documents for the implementation of e-commerce data layers to enable tracking across the entire purchase funnel. Additionally, our team ensured that all tracking was GDPR compliant.
