Conducting a comprehensive e-reputation audit for the brand, combining open web data and reviews from e-commerce sites

Somfy is a French pioneer in the motorisation and automation of doors and windows.  
For more than 50 years, it has been making lasting innovations in the home, designing motors and connected solutions for roller shutters, awnings, gates, garage doors and home automation solutions. Somfy stands out for its commitment to innovation, sustainability and user comfort, with a strong presence on international markets.

The challenge 

As part of a continuous improvement and customer service enhancement initiative, Somfy wanted to assess its online reputation by analysing in detail the opinions and ratings left on various e-commerce platforms. The aim of this study was to identify areas for improvement in order to better meet the expectations of Internet users at each point of contact, with the dual objective of optimising its e-reputation and perfecting its customer service management.

The project and its results 

In this context, we carried out an e-reputation audit for Somfy as well as its main competitors, complemented by a detailed analysis of ratings and reviews on e-commerce platforms. This initiative provided a comprehensive overview of Somfy's e-reputation through customer verbatims, assessed the general sentiment of the comments, and identified areas for improvement in both services and products.
In response, we developed a concrete, actionable, and quickly deployable action plan, supported by a prioritization matrix to guide Somfy's teams in implementing relevant and efficient measures.
